Matthew 6:34
New International Version (NIV)
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Today is a good day! I awaken strong in mind, and at peace with myself. With a good night’s sleep, I have found that I breathe better—my face looks better! (LOL) I have no plans for today, other than to enjoy the moment, and honor God. Although I may reflect on my past, I stay present in the moment. To enjoy this moment, I believe I must appreciate all the things that have made today possible—the successes and the failures.
Several years ago, I wrote an article for an online news outlet, World African Network, “When Things Fall Apart: Reclaim the Soul with Healing Alternatives.” Research indicated that we can practice loving acts that promote healthier alternatives for the spirit that offer peace, harmony, and balance for the soul. These include:
- Exercise,
- Music therapy,
- Art therapy,
- Laughter, and
- Prayer and Meditation.
Additionally, you can select the friends and associations that become part of your being. If you find that you have selected people that negatively impact you spiritually, retard you emotionally and physically drain you, then you may want to say, adiós!; au revoir! Tchau!—means, Goodbye!
We can reclaim our health, our spirit, and guide our moments by choosing healthier alternatives to enjoy the moment!

I read each of your posts this evening. Please include me to receive your account information. I believe a strong, focused mindset is vital to navigate life’s challenges–so too is a supportive circle of loving people. You seem to have these understandings. I would encourage adding the book I Will Not Be Broken (Jerry White) to your collection. If interested, I have an extra copy. You or Justin could forward a mailing address through Facebook message. Know you and your family are in our hearts.

Thank you. It took me a long time to get to where I could talk about this, and I believe blogging along with a supportive circle will indeed make this a whole lot easier. Thank you so much. I would love to read the book. I will send you my address through FB.
